This picture was submitted by Lane Adams (Kovacs).
It was taken by his father on a visit back to Elliot Lake
in the '70's.   If you click on the picture above to see
the larger version, you will notice "Laurentien Lodge"
at the top of the cabin.

Lane (Kovacs) went to high school in Elliot Lake in the
'60's and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. If
anyone knows or remembers him, he would love to
hear from you!

These two pictures were taken on Slipper Lake a couple of days
after Christmas '97. They are of Bob Putnam (an Elliot Lake
resident) enjoying a skate on a beautiful winter day.

Thanks to Jason Beynon, from the U.K. (Britain) for these great
pictures. Jason lived in Elliot Lake years ago and took the
picture above left of Quirke II Mine (Rio Algom) in 1985.

The right picture is a gorgeous picture of an Elliot Lake sunset
taken by Jason.
