Learn the basics of quilting
using a hoop. Requirements are a
12 inch quilting hoop and scraps of fabric (no knits). You will
complete a quilted item.

DRAWING & DESIGN

The foundation needed to transfer words or
thoughts to images as done by the best storyboard artists. Basic laws of
Light, Shade,
Form and Dynamics. A simple method of drawing the figure without
reference (that's called Freedom).
Minimum: 12 students. Registrants will receive a list of required
materials.

How do you use your computer to explore your genealogy? The
vast resources of the Internet (and our own families) will help us
discover facts and family history. We will use a program called
Legacy to enter, record and print your family trees. Other
popular programs will also be sampled for comparison. We have
acquired 5 training video CD's useful as guides for finding,
documenting and organizing family information.
