This is a program for those who wish to learn French basics
including phonetics, grammar and, through role playing and
lively discussion, also the development of vocabulary.

                         FRENCH - ADVANCED

Participants: Maximum 12

For those with some conversational abilities looking to improve
through class discussion of newspaper or magazine articles.

For those who have a knowledge of basic French and wish to
expand their skills.

                         COMPUTER LEVEL - 2
                 Coordinator:    Bob Young   461-7090

This program stresses the Internet and E-mailing to multiple
recipients using CC, BCC, E-mail with attachments, Internet
search and "surfing". We will also cover creating folders and
saving data on the computer, thereby becoming organized. We will work with a web mail provider. Other topics will include how to do labels using the three different word processing programs. The Institute uses equipment in the computer lab, room 10 in the Adult Education Centre which is on a network system.
