Homecoming Reunion (1998) Pictures

The reunion began its celebration on Friday, July 3, 1998 with a Gala Wine
and Cheese Social.  Over 1000 former students and staff filled the gymnasium
and hallways.  Throughout the evening, they reminisced and rekindled friendships.
A memorial Wall was dedicated in honour of students who have passed on and
a Memorial Scholarship Fund was established.

The three day event also included two breakfasts, a nature hike, individual class
socials, a basketball game which featured the ELSS Atoms versus the Old Time
Atoms, a family fun day at the beach, along with many Uranium Heritage Festival
and Homecoming activities.  Many ELSS alumni united for the Elliot Lake
Homecoming Community Street Dance on Saturday, July 4, 1998.  Over 4000
people filled the downtown core.  What a party!
