                                   The Deer Trail

Elliot Lake and the Deer Trail offer year-round splendour.
Fall colours are spectacular.  Bear, deer, moose and "
grouse hunting are excellent.

Come winter, there's great cross-country and downhill
skiing, ice fishing, and miles of snowmobiling trails.

The Deer Trail is a stunning 120 kilometre (72 miles)
journey through some of the most magnificent unspoiled
landscapes of the north.  The triangular route starts at
the Trailhead and travels north through the City of Elliot
Lake to its apex just north of Mississagi Provincial Park.
Turning south it follows the Little White River down to
Iron Bridge and then makes its way back east through
Blind River, Algoma Mills and Spragge.
