                            Fall Spectacular

On Saturday, October 3, 1998 I took these pictures
on an aerial tour arranged by the Elliot Lake Airport
Advisory Committee (a small group of dedicated
and determined individuals) promoting the City of
Elliot Lake and the Elliot Lake Airport.

This event was called "Autumn Colours", aptly named
as you can see from the pictures.  The trip was a
20 minutes sight-seeing tour in a high-winged aircraft
at about 2000 feet.  Bert Rapp, secretary of the
advisory committee, was the organizer of the event.

The timing was perfect - the colours were at their
peak.  The pictures may take a few seconds to load,
but they are worth the wait!
