Lived in town from 1957 to 1969. Work at the saw-mill for a few years and learned how to swear like a lumberjack. I could put a few truckers to shame.(HA!HA!)I've been back a couple of times to visit and plan to retire there some day.This web site as brought back many fond memories. Keep up the good work on those beautiful pictures.

So everyone visiting the site knows, Yolanda's Web Design donates free web space to the ELSS Alumni Association. Reading this guest book reminds me how fortunate and proud I am to still call Elliot Lake my home. Born and raised here and now raising my own, I can't think of a greater community to raise a family -- fresh air, clean water, vast wilderness, LOTS of great outdoor activities and best of all, warm, friendly people. To all former residents longing to return here, "The Lake" remains a strong, beautiful community despite the economic hardships of the early 90's. Come on back everyone! well there elliot lake yes ya do have a great area up that way.as well as good outdoor activities.good hunting fishing fresh air,now all i can really add is ok i live out in the way of a lot of factories ok and well the little complants you locals have is nothing really like "we need a bigger mall." well in the area of st.catharines i live in here i got like 2 paper mills to one side of me 2 more to the other as well as a few other factories.including gm plants 1 and 2 and the axel plant. i head up there in the summer cause i like the area alot yes i am a tourist and i know that we can be a pain.yes you may ask how do i know a bought tourists well i also live like 5 miles from niagara falls.well as the crow flies 10 to 15 as the car goes.so i add so ya dont have a big mall,and your bait store is called the little hooker.look at the clean area you live in as well as what nature has to offer you out that way.i would give up all i have this way just to live out there to be honest.

Hi everyone on this site and In Elliot Lake. I used to live in Elliot lake from 1980-1989 and moved in 89. We lived at 14 Hergott avenue and i am now 25, and sure as hell miss the place. I have never been brought up in such an Excellent environment, good schooling etc. I now live in the u.k. South wales and feel that there is no comparison. Elliot Lake is and allways be #1. I miss dunlop, the fishing, friends, the walks if anyone knows Robert allan Beynon, Lynda Beynon, Christian Beynon, And My self Jason Beynon Please email me as soon as possible. Thanks

I whent to elliot lake like an exchange student in november to december from the methodist college in san jose costa rica and I wold like to go back to elliot lake as soon as I can I love the people and the house that host me the pamerleau's they are great people as all the ones that host people from costa rica I will never forget elliot lake a great place . viva costa rica thanks to Paul ,Sierge,Chad and Martty Pamerleau . and her NANA.
